La Violette -the Violet- truly is one of the most well-known garden flowers. You can buy them on every corner of the street. We already met a member of the Violet family (La Pensee), unfortunately I am too poor a botanist to see the difference.
Giuliani set his interpretation of the violet in 6/8 time and made it a quite etudesque composition. The piece has a clear structure with a few question-answer games to exploit.
