Mouvement de Priére Religieuse (Etude)

This is an etude in E major by the Spanish composer Fernando Sor (1778 - 1839, for a description of his life, see the comments with Les Adieux).
He wrote a large number of didactic works for the guitar, amongst others a guitar method and sets of studies that provided excercises for specific guitar techniques. This study appears to be an arrangement of a choral melody from Sor's time. The challenge of this study is smooth play, despite the tricky chord changes.
