This Partita is a typical baroque suite, composed by an anonymous Baroque composer. The piece is dated about 1750. The partita includes the movements Intrada, Bourree, Double (de Bourree), Menuet, Gavotte, Double (de Gavotte) and Passepied.
It takes some practice, but this piece is fun to play, offering a variety of tempos. Play the Doubles in strong contrast with their counterparts (which does not mean that you have to play them top speed).
