Romance d' Amor

This anonymous nineteenth century theme is one of the most well-known melodies from the guitar repertoire. Romance exists in a number of versions, but it did not hit the charts before Narciso Yepes played the piece in the soundtrack of Jeux Interdits, a movie that dealt with the sexual awakening of a boy and a girl in wartime, an "all time classic" subject.
The first section of the piece is not that difficult, leaving out some trouble spots. The middle part in E major, however, is quite different and contains many practicing spots.
