Rondo Allegretto

This is an Allegretto in D major Op. 5 no. 12 by the Italian composer Matteo Carcassi (1792 - 1853). The main challenge in this kind of music is to play it such that its many variations of the same remain interesting. The music sounds so simple, that many players -including me- think that effort is not necessary for a good interpretation. Well, just try to play it like Uchida plays the Mozart sonatas on the piano. The music wil definitely benefit from it!
