Tango No 3
José Ferrer
This piece was composed by the Spanish composer Jose Ferrer Esteve de Fujadas (1835-1916), a contemporary of Francisco Tarrega and Miguel Llobet. Ferrer wrote a few pieces in the typical 19th century style Musique de Salon.
This tango actually has a straight tango feel. Many 'eight triplet - two eights' combinations enhance this feeling. It takes some effort to figure out the transitions between the lower and higher positions vice versa. In the end you will have a nice and enjoyable piece to play!
