Matteo Carcassi complied with the requirements of the 19th century guitar playing audience, composing his Amusements, Douze Morceaux Faciles Op. 10, which was directed to the player with moderate technical ability. This waltz is a cheerful straightforward piece which is played best in strict waltz tempo. I suggest to play it fairly fast to obtain a nice " Strauss" effect.
