This is a set of 2 Fantasias from the music collection of Pierre Phalése (1510 – 1573), also known by his slightly Latinized name Petrus Phalesius.
A Fantasia is free form that offers opportunity for improvisation. So, the result is more or less a surprise. Both Fantasias require a bit of effort because of their relative complexity, but the result is nice. And maybe you have a nice subject here for theoretical analysis.
