Partita Nr. 2 in C Minor

The fourth album –00.00.04– was an unusual one. Bach provided the themes for Ave Maria and Partita No 2 in C Minor, the jazz returned a bit with Monlope by Jimmy Smith. Side B of the record was almost completely occupied by Picadilly Sweet, a track for pop group and orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic from London, to be precise.

The role of the synthesizer became a permanent one on 00.00.04. It was true that Beggar Julia’s Time Trip had a few passages with the synthesizer, but they were no major ones. On 00.00.04, Rick van der Linden played an ARP 2600, one of the competitors of the Moog synthesizers. I remember the fat bass line from Partita, which sounded very well with headphones (I did not have speaker that large).
