Flight of the Bumble Bee
The sixth album –Trinity– was made after a major reorganisation in the band, the drummer and one of the wind instrument section left and were replaced. Musically speaking that was a relative success. Even though the album did not hit the charts, I find it one of the best records, Ekseption made. Bach (Toccata), Beethoven (Romance in F) and Rimsky Korsakoff (Flight of the Bumble Bee) provided for the classical themes, the remainder of the album provided room for more pop-like material. The Peruvian Flute and Improvisation were long tracks in which the group members had their solos in a more or less democratic manner. The lovely Meddle will always be a nice memory of a girl with her flute, I used to have a crush on those days.
