I heard Capriccio Nr. 1 for the first time performed by Raphaella Smits. It is an easy going start of an opus number with a lot of tempo variation. Despite its slow tempo some passages require practice, for instance the first two measures have a chord that would have been easier on the 19th century guitar, but now require a position change and some thinking about a smooth transition. Make sure to emphasize the melody in the lower voices.
