Fantasia V (Da Milano)

This is a fantasia -a free musical form with a polyphonic character- by the 16th century composer Francesco Canova da Milano (1497 – 1543). The elation of the game of the three voices forms a paradox that I experience in Renaissance music quite often: how can music from such a harsh and hard time like the 15th and 16th century sound that exalted and far away from the daily troubles in that time?
