Biography
Jorge Cardoso (*1949) is an Argentine guitarist and composer who is also active in medical science, he earned degrees in both music and medicine.
In his youth he received guitar lessons from Areco and Casselini, a scholarship allowed him to continue his studies with Maria Crespo, a well-known grand dame of the guitar of that time. He became a valued composer and also wrote a guitar method, a book on South American rhythms and musical forms, and a work on illness among musicians.
