This is an arrangement of a piano piece by the Cuban composer Manuel Saumell. It is an arrangement of a peasant dance (contradanza) and is dedicated to the little child of dawn (la nene). The piece includes a short introduction and a main theme which is played twice. A nice example of Latin rhythms. Specifically, the last section is a real sunrise. Delightful!
