This is the Rondo from the well-known Duo in G by Fernando Carulli. I heard the duo for the first time on the Together albums, played by John Williams and Julian Bream. It is a movement which lends itself to virtuosity, although it is extremely important to keep the clarity of the piece, over-virtuosity will turn it into a mess of notes in a poor sewing machine sound. An approach like Mitsuko Uchida as she plays the Mozart sonatas will turn this Rondo into a little jewel.
