Mazurka is a Polish dance form that became popular in Sor’s days. Particularly under influence of Chopin’s music the Mazurka also emerged in guitar compositions.
Sor’s Mazurka is a straight version that gets a warm sound in its key of D major with the E string dropped to D. The original score was ambiguous at certain points. Here and there a C was noted down, but by inspection via playback (A nice feature of the Sibelius software) it appeared that a C sharp was better. So I changed that.
