In this Sonatine, Thomas Peperkamp adopts the classical style indeed. The cheer of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the style of the guitar composer and virtuoso Mauro Giuliani. The connection to Giuliani shows from the technical challenges in the piece, in particular in the Finale, if you have to play high on the fingerboard. This mountaineering, however, is worth the effort.
